From the Headteacher's Study: Monday 4th May 2020

Founder’s Day is an annual celebration at Bishop Challoner. Today is the school’s official birthday when we celebrate our 70 years of history.

Usually we would have a Founder's Day Mass when school is open and this is a celebratory Mass of thanksgiving, with readings and prayers chosen to reflect the importance of foundation of the school.

On the 4th May 1950, Bishop Challoner School was founded by Father Patrick Byrne.
