Beckenham Music Festival

The Senior Choir competed in this year's Beckenham Music Festival in the Under 18 category. The students persevered through their nerves and sung beautifully with the aid of the reverberation inside St. George's church. We sung: 'Seasons of Love' from Rent, the musical; 'In Flanders' Field' by Sharon Durant and 'It's Quiet Uptown' from Hamilton, the musical. Bishop Challoner came second in our category and it was a very worthwhile experience for us all. I very much look forward to taking part in another local music competition. Thank you very much to Mrs. Maxwell who supported the group and Mr. Maxwell who accompanied us.
