A level results 2019

Bishop Challoner celebrated 100 per cent pass rate at A level with 20 per cent A* grades being achieved.

60 per cent of the results were A*- C grades with students gaining 100 per cent *A - C grades in English Literature, History, Philosophy and Ethics, Physics and 100 percent A* in the Extended Project Qualification.

A special congratulations to Oliver Meade who achieved an amazing complement of 4 A* grades and has been offered Exeter to study History.

Mrs Paula Anderson, Headteacher said:  “I commend students, staff and families who have worked hard and in partnership to achieve some pleasing results. I am delighted that they have been successful, enabling them to go onto a wide range of degree courses. I would like to congratulate our students and wish them all the very best in their future endeavours’’.

Our Catholic school allows students to be academically challenged and ultimately flourish in a caring and supportive learning environment. Not only have students gained some excellent results but they have been well prepared for an exciting future allowing them to face the challenges of the wider world.
