Bishop Challoner performed well in the 2014 Performance Tables published only last week with 82% gaining at least 5A*-C grades including Maths  and English at GCSE.  Great news for Challoner.

GCSE Results

Bishop Challoner pupils achieved 86% A*-C grades in English despite the sharp drop nationally in English grades with the national average being 61.7% A*-C.

The maths results were 68 % A*-B compared with the national average of 62.4% of entries gaining an A*-C grade.  English literature 64% A*-B.
history and spanish scored 100% A*-C.

Special congratulations to Stephen Clifford and Thomas Cox who gained an amazing 11 A*/A grades. Stephen is studying A levels in chemistry,Spanish, history and English Literature in our sixth form.  

Charmaine Lyall gained 4A*, 5A and 2B grades and Simona Scialo achieved 3A*, 7 A and 1B.  Josephine Wilson and Sarah Wilson achieved 11 A/B grades.    Tom O’Gorman achieved 13 GCSEs, with 12A/B grades.  Josephine will be studying Spanish, French, art and English Literature and Tom has chosen mathematics, biology, physical education and dance in Bishop Challoner sixth form.
