The Bug Man
To link in with Science Week , the Junior School had a visit from Martin Rapley, known as ‘The Bug Man.’ Each class had a session with Martin where they leant all about classification, adaptation, habitats, camouflage and much more. Children then had the opportunity to catwalk around with a tarantula on their shoulder or head and have a snake wrapped around their shoulders. Other creatures that came to visit us included; giant cockroaches, a baby tarantula, praying mantis and many leaf insects.
What a wonderful experience enjoyed by both pupils and adults!
