The Learning Support Department is run from the office/teaching room situated on the first floor. Mrs. S. Dinsmore is Head of Learning Support/SENCO.

Exam Information
Following an assessment by a qualified educational psychologist a pupil classified as dyslexic may be allowed 25% extra time in exams.

We keep an up to date list of students with special needs, including
Stage 1- Those identified as having a specific learning difficulty by a subject teacher or another member of staff,
Stage 2- Those who have been assessed as having a specific learning difficulty by an outside agency e.g. a qualified educational psychologist, occupational therapist or paediatrician or
Stage 3- Those who have been statemented.
