Dear Sixth Former,
It is my pleasure to welcome you to Bishop Challoner School.  We are a small 6^th Form Community with high expectations of our young adults.  Life as a 6^th Former is diverse and rewarding.  We offer small tuition groups enabling you to take full advantage of our expertise and independent learning is tracked by the 6^th Form team to ensure that you continue to make good progress.

Our past pupils have gone on to study a wide variety of courses such as law, pharmacology, engineering and art to name a few.  Have a look at our students from 2013 and see the pathways they’ve gone on to.  

Both AS and A level students have an afternoon each week devoted to sport. They may join one of the Bishop Challoner teams, or take advantage of the many excellent local facilities. As well as our popular football team, students may pursue more unusual sports such as table tennis or taekwondo. 

Bishop Challoner School promotes a strong sense of mutual self-respect and trust. There is a very friendly, welcoming atmosphere in the Sixth Form. Students say that they are made to feel very welcome and everyone is very open and considerate. The extensive PSHCE programme is underpinned by our Catholic belief and overtly empathises with the range of faiths and backgrounds of all of our 6^th Form. This programme contributes substantially to the spiritual and moral development of our students.
