A level results
Bishop Challoner School once again celebrated excellent A level results, maintaining its high standards for the second year running. This year students achieved an incredible 100 percent pass rate of A*-D, with 81 percent A*-C grades.
Students received excellent results in Chemistry, Dance, English Literature, History, Italian, Mathematics, Music and Physics with 100 percent A*-C grades.
Headteacher, Mrs Paula Anderson said "The students have worked incredibly hard and we are very proud of their achievements. The support and dedication of the staff and parents has enabled the students to gain places at universities of their choice".
Many individual students achieved better than, or in line with, their baseline predictions, demonstrating commitment to their studies and passion for learning with the support of our outstanding teachers.
She goes on to say, "Not only have our students gained some amazing results, they have had the opportunity at Bishop Challoner to grow and develop into well respected, confident and delightful students ready to face the challenges of the wider world. I would like to congratulate our students and wish them all the very best in their future endeavours."
Our students have been accepted at a number of prestigious universities to study a diverse range of courses including Leeds to study English and Theatre, Nottingham to read Physics, Brighton to study Accountancy, Cardiff to read History & Philosophy, Nottingham to read MSCi Physics, Portsmouth to read Politics, Roehampton for Dance and one of our pupils went on to pursue aviation training.
